Skype Setup

Here is a memo for how to correctly configure Skype with a Shuttle Xpc barebone system in a KDE desktop. First make sure that in the KDE Sound control module (Hardware tab) looks like this

then setup the mixer input like this

and the mixer switches tab like this

Finally, in Skype Tools -> Options -> Sound Devices you need to use OSS device (not ALSA)
